It has been a while, but I am back, advocating for women’s heart health and raising awareness of women’s #1 health risk!

This year, the Go Red for Women program turns 20! I am one of 20 survivors being featured at this year’s Go Red Gala in the Twin Cities, and I’ve been asked to be a Woman of Impact to mark this anniversary.

What does that mean? It means I gather up as many people as I can to take action (even small ones, from home!) between February and April to learn about heart health and help make sure Go Red for Women is strong for its next 20 years.

If you’d like to join me (and my Woman of Impact Team) take a look here and click “Join this nominee” at the bottom of the page.

More later. The campaign kicks off on February 2!

This is awesome Jen! I remember when Go Red was 10 and I was just caught off guard seeing it was 20! Cheers to being this many years post heart attack!
